Jason has been producing conferences and events for nearly 20 years. He has worked in many industries including non profit, technology, healthcare and life sciences. He has always enjoyed the creative process of putting together an impactful event.
Jason is also a long time writer, actor and comedian, performing around New York and New Jersey. He is thrilled to be fulfilling his dream of organizing a conference that explores the massive business opportunities that exist in the battle against climate change.

Chris Allieri is founder and principal of Mulberry & Astor, a New York- based consultancy focused on delivering high-quality, integrated marketing and public relations programs for early stage companies, individuals, established businesses and non profits alike.
Chris has twenty years of diverse marketing & communications experience across multiple sectors. Prior to launching his own firm, Chris served as the chief communications & marketing executive at Edelman, the world's largest PR company. Chris was also director of digital, corporate and internal communications at Univision, the U.S. Hispanic media company. He created and executed new technology product and network launches, social and digital media programs and cross-industry partnerships with Netflix, Hulu, Twitter, T-Mobile and the Clinton Foundation.
Prior to Univision, Chris led corporate communications in North America for Accenture's management consulting practice, as well as its sustainability, digital strategy and risk management business lines globally. He was also director at Grayling, the public relations and public affairs firm, where his clients included the truth Campaign, The Coca-Cola Company and Toyota. Prior to that, Chris was director of communications for MOUSE, a national non-profit organization integrating technology in public schools. Additionally, Chris led community affairs and the corporate foundation for StarMedia Network, the Spanish and Portuguese-language internet company.
Chris serves on the board of directors of Farm Sanctuary and The Trevor Project, where he is currently vice chair. Chris received his BA with honors in environmental studies and Latin American studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and his MA in international affairs from Columbia University.
Jesse Rittenhouse is a seasoned business development professional, with years of experience in conference and event development. He believes in being socially responsible in business and that means concerning ourselves with the people and the planet, as well as profit, to be truly sustainable. Jesse has joined Companies Vs Climate Change to help businesses come together and share in solutions and adaptations for climate change.
Over the years, Jesse has helped to create the first fully-permitted biodiesel factory in Miami, became a leading recycling and solid waste industry expert, and founded the Recycling Energy Forum in 2015. He has produced, planned, and developed sponsorships for many sustainability-driven conferences, events, and talks over the years and brings this knowledge and experience to CvCC. He currently runs REF, a marketing agency focused on helping sustainable businesses. In addition, he voluntarily leads several environmental nonprofits as a member of the Board of Directors with Dream In Green, Marketing & Promotions Director for USGBC Miami Branch, and South Florida University Ambassador for Net Impact. Through his training as a Climate Reality Leader and through first-hand views of sea level rise in Miami, Jesse knows that climate change is a global issue that we must find solutions to for mitigation and adaptation.
Karin is the founder and manager of the sustainability consulting company Leadership & Sustainability. She has 30 years of international consulting and industry experience, most recently as Head of Environmental Services at adidas Group, establishing and maintaining group environmental strategies and programmes for its internal business operations and global supply chain.
She was chair of the Board of Directors on the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, which is a trade organization representing more than a third of the global apparel and footwear market and working to reduce the environmental and social impacts of apparel and footwear products. Since December 2016 Karin is also an accredited trainer of SAC.
Karin has also been engaged during the set-up and first years of the ZDHC, Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals, taking on several leadership roles within the ZDHC collaboration. With her Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and Diploma in Environmental Management Karin offers expertise in various areas within the fields of sustainability and management systems. She will support Companies vs. Climate Change as a Senior Advisor, aiming to address climate change in Europe and worldwide.
Lora is a dedicated and focused Research Manager who excels at prioritizing, completing multiple tasks simultaneously and following through to achieve project goals.
Experiences are varied and include customer service, bookkeeping and data entry; excellent proficiency with a variety of computer programs. Lora focuses on data entry, reconciliations, marketing projects, social outreach via internet resources, etc.
After a career spent working in sustainability-related communications and public affairs with governments, NGOs and businesses, Betsy currently runs her own sustainability strategy consultancy, working with clients in the UK, US and Europe to define and deliver effective sustainability-related strategies and work. Betsy is both American and British and is currently based in Barcelona. Combined with her professional experience across multiple sectors, she brings a unique and broad perspective into the context, players and opportunities presented by pressing issues like climate change.
Betsy's past roles include leading Nestle UK's sustainability public affairs programme, working with experts across the world's largest food company on topics such as climate change, water management and human rights. As Head of Campaigns at Zero Waste Scotland, she directed a range of behaviour change campaigns including food waste prevention and the creation of Scotland’s first national recycling campaign. In all of her past roles she has brokered impactful multi-sector partnerships to address social and environmental issues and regularly served as a spokesperson and presenter.
She now focuses almost exclusively on working with businesses, helping them operate more sustainably to create positive change, as well as advising and supporting those aiming to achieve B Corp status. She is regularly invited to speak at and chair events and currently serves as Chair of the UK PR and Communications Association's (PRCA) Sustainability Group and sits on the UK PR Council and is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA), which brings together Fellows around the world in a network of people focused on enriching society through ideas and action.
Adam Woodhall is an advisor, activator and author who helps large organisations, entrepreneurial enterprises and NGOs communicate excellently, connect with other sustainability leaders and generate transformational change. He has over 20 years commercial experience with the last 10 years in sustainability, having worked with over 70 clients.
An American based in France, Jennifer Jomier is a corporate responsibility and sustainability consultant with a special focus on international development and social impact. Jen has spent over ten years designing and implementing powerful programs, engaging events, and creative communications across a variety of organizational functions. Her experience spans the public, private, nonprofit, and international organization sectors, and she most enjoys building dynamic partnerships that leverage each sector's strengths for maximum impact.
Jen completed her Masters in Public Affairs magna cum laude at Sciences Po Paris (France) and has a Credential of Readiness certificate from Harvard Business School – HBX (USA) and a BA in Public Policy with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (USA).
Dejan has a bachelor and master's degree in food engineering and work experience from different fields across the world. He has always had a passion toward renewable energy and that is why he wanted to obtain more experience in this field. With the help of Erasmus+ scholarship he is now on a new innovative master course that is being developed by the Institute for Applied Material Flow Management in Germany. The institute creates environmental solutions in cost effective ways, where he also works as research assistant in the field of sustainable development and renewable energy consultancy.
Marissa Rosen is a strategic sustainability communications consultant; owner and manager of Climate Social, LLC. Within her niche in new media, she designs and implements social media and website strategies to build compelling brands, engaged networks, and business communities that proactively create positive impact.
After a career of developing and executing marketing strategies for roles in higher education, consulting, and online business publications, Marissa launched Climate Social in 2015.
Marissa has earned a B.A. in Communications from the University of Missouri, and a Masters in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Advocacy and Education from the University of Pennsylvania.
